Two 'Forums' - 'The Impact of COVID on Women in the Economy' and 'The Impact of Women in Power on COVID' will seize the opportunity to build forward from COVID to debate the shape of our world ahead. Glancing back to the 1995 'Beijing Platform for Action' and forward to Sustainable Development Goals 2030 - join our lively debate as we discuss how to Count Differently, Design Differently' and Lead Differently.

Amen ben Ahmouda

Amen is an Ottawa local, and graduated from the University of Ottawa in Public Administration and Political Science. Her studies were focused on comparative politics, international relations and the EU. Throughout her degree, she gained a diverse background working in federal and municipal politics, in the public service and private sector. Currently, she is the Public Affairs and Program Officer at Equal Voice. Through her work with Equal Voice and involvement as a Daughters of the Vote delegate with the first cohort in 2017, Amen has developed a keen interest in gender studies and gender-parity in politics and the workforce.
As a Francophile, Amen is passionate about expanding the space for diversity and bilingualism in Ottawa and within her community at large.
