Ayat Ibrahim

Ayat has been involved with Equal Voice since taking her seat as a delegate in DOV 2019, representing her riding of Ottawa South. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Sociology. As a student, she has had a wealth of experience being a part of multiple Executive Teams and providing support to her classmates on campus. Professionally, she has a diverse background having worked in the Government, with a national political party, and with non-profit organizations. Ayat is passionate about promoting intersectionality and hopes to see the continued success of women in Canadian politics.
