Carmina Ravanera

Carmina Ravanera is a Research Associate at the Institute for Gender and the Economy at the University of Toronto. She is a researcher, writer, and editor focused on social justice and equity, and is the co-author of A Feminist Economic Recovery Plan for Canada: Making the Economy Work for Everyone. Her writing has also appeared in Policy Options and Corporate Knights, among other publications.Previously, Carmina held research roles in the field of diversity and inclusion consulting, as well as at the London School of Economics and at Western University. Carmina earned a master’s degree in Gender, Development and Globalization from the London School of Economics, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Development from McGill University.
